Twice in 2020, Dr. Pierre Kory was invited to testify to the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on the treatments he and his colleagues in the FLCCC Alliance were using successfully and recommending to health authorities and other medical professionals for use in combatting the coronavirus pandemic. Videos of his testimony can be viewed at the links below.

Appearing as a witness Tuesday morning, Dec 8, 2020, before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs—which held a hearing on “Early Outpatient Treatment: An Essential Part of a COVID-19 Solution”— Dr. Pierre Kory, President of the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), called for the government to swiftly review the already expansive and still rapidly emerging medical evidence on ivermectin. The data shows the ability of the drug ivermectin to prevent COVID-19, to keep those with early symptoms from progressing to the hyper-inflammatory phase of the disease, and even to help critically ill patients recover.
Dr. Kory testified that ivermectin is effectively a “miracle drug” against COVID-19 and called upon the government’s medical authorities — the NIH, CDC, and FDA—to urgently review the latest data and then issue guidelines for physicians, nurse-practitioners, and physician assistants to prescribe ivermectin for COVID-19. Dr. Kory testifies before U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on treating COVID-19 (May 6, 2020)
This was an early attempt to convince the committee of the life-saving efficacy of our MATH+ Hospital Treatment Protocol for COVID-19, which included use of the steroid methylprednisolone to quell the deadly “cytokine storm,” resulting from the immune system’s overreaction to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This was the most common cause of death in COVID-19. But all governmental health agencies were recommending against the use of corticosteroids in treating COVID-19 at the time, and none adopted the MATH+ protocol following Dr. Kory’s testimony. But the efficacy of corticosteroids to combat the cytokine storm was confirmed weeks later, in the results of Oxford University’s so-called RECOVERY trial (June 2020). Only then did steroids become “standard of care” worldwide in hospital treatment for COVID-19, although the weaker and less effective dexamethasone was the steroid used.
